Dozens of houses are flooded in Makhachkala, and over 60,000 people are left without electricity. Rivers have formed on the roads, and cars have sunk. Several dozen people have been evacuated. In Derbent, rivers have overflowed their banks, flooded roads, and water flows are carrying away and overturning cars. More than 130 villages are without electricity, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. Malfunctions were recorded in 16 districts of the republic. Heavy rains and gusty winds are predicted in the region until tomorrow, Interfax reports.
