US to Suspend Strikes on Iran's Energy Sector for Five Days

In this regard, Trump ordered a five-day postponement of military strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure. According to the US President, the truce will be maintained 'provided the ongoing negotiations are successful.' The negotiations will continue throughout the week, Trump added. Oil reacted instantly, notes Bloomberg. Brent crude futures fell by more than 14% to $96 a barrel. Gas prices in Europe decreased by 8.9%, and global bonds began to rise.
