About 2,000 people were undergoing treatment there, according to hospital staff. In their opinion, the number of casualties could reach several hundred. The conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan escalated in February 2026. Pakistan announced an "open war" against the "Taliban," striking at militant camps in response to terrorist attacks in Islamabad.
