Kommersant: Dior plans to resume operations in Moscow by 2028
The Russian legal entity of Dior expects to resume operations of two stores in Moscow by 2028 - on Stoleshnikov Lane and in GUM, writes Kommersant citing the brand's accounting statements. The intentions to restore the operation of boutiques are stated in the explanatory note to the documentation. GUM, the global office of the French LVMH, and the owner of the premises on Stoleshnikov Lane did not answer journalists' questions. In March 2022, the brand decided to suspend operations in Russia due to the full-scale war in Ukraine. By 2023, the brand had nine outlets left, eight of which were located in the capital, one in St. Petersburg. By 2024, only four points remained. At the same time, in 2024, Christian Dior renewed the registration of its trademark in the Russian Federation until 2034. In 2021, the company's revenue in Russia amounted to 8.5 billion rubles, in 2025 - only 592 thousand rubles. The company's net loss in the last year amounted to 120 million, writes Kommersant.
