Construction workers in occupied Mariupol stop receiving salaries
Photo: EPA. In Mariupol, several construction companies involved in the restoration of facilities have stopped paying their employees salaries. This was reported by pro-Russian authorities Z-volunteer Sania Denisova, as noted by ASTRA. Employees of the Mariupol branch of PST LLC complained that they have not received their salaries since December. Management constantly promises to make payments soon but fails to do so. "We are waiting, we have no more patience. There is nothing to live on, all employees are in debt, some have loans. Please help us with our problem," said one of Denisova's subscribers. ASTRA found that the accounts of the St. Petersburg company PST were blocked on March 11. In addition, employees of the Moscow company "Ostrob" complain about non-payment of salaries. According to them, problems with money began in October. In December, management transferred earned money to employees, but stopped paying salaries again from the same month. Employees of "SpetsSnabTrans" LLC and MUP "Mariupolzhilkompleks" faced the same problem. "In general, there are practically no decent firms left in the city that do not delay or cheat on salaries," said Denisova's subscriber.
