Iran strikes US Embassy in Kuwait, US fighter jet crashes in country

Additionally, a US fighter jet crashed in Kuwait, about ten kilometers from the Al-Salem US Air Force base. Kuwait's Ministry of Defense confirmed the crash of "several American military aircraft" on its territory, adding that all pilots ejected safely. Separately, an Iranian drone struck the British Akrotiri airbase in Cyprus, causing minor damage but no casualties, according to Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides and the UK Ministry of Defense.
