Actor Robert Duvall Dies. He is Known for His Roles in "The Godfather" and "Apocalypse Now"

American actor Robert Duvall has died at the age of 95. His wife Luciana announced this on his Facebook page. "To the world, he was an Oscar-winning actor, a director, a storyteller. To me, he was simply everything," the actor's wife wrote. Robert Duvall starred in over 100 films. His most famous roles were in "The Godfather," where the actor played Don Vito Corleone's adopted son Tom Hagen, and "Apocalypse Now," in which he appeared as Lieutenant Colonel Kilgore. In 1984, Duvall received an Oscar for Best Actor in the film "Tender Mercies." Additionally, the actor was nominated for the award six times for his roles in "The Godfather," "Apocalypse Now," "The Great Santini," "The Apostle," "The Civil Wars," and "The Judge." The actor received a BAFTA award and four Golden Globe awards.
