Perpetrators of the "Crocus City Hall" terrorist attack sentenced to life imprisonment

The 2nd Western District Military Court, in a field hearing in Moscow, sentenced four perpetrators of the "Crocus City Hall" terrorist attack to life imprisonment in a special regime colony, according to RBC. Part of the sentence will be served in prison: Shamsidin Fariduni for 18 years, Dalerjon Mirzoev and Makhammadsobir Faizov for 17 years, and Saidakram Rachabazizoda for 16 years. The remainder of their sentences will be served in a special regime colony. The court also ordered the perpetrators to pay a fine of 990,000 rubles each. Life sentences were also handed down to 11 others, whom the court found to be accomplices to the perpetrators: Umedjon and Mustakim Soliev, Shakhromjon Gadoev, Zaybudullo Ismoilov, Khusein Khamidov, Muhammad Zoir Sharipzode, Yakubjoni Yusufzode, Nazrimad Lutfulloi, Djumakhon Kurboanov, Khusen Medov, and Dzhabrail Aushev. They were accused of supplying weapons and ammunition to the perpetrators, converting deactivated weapons into live ones, providing money, and preparing a similar terrorist attack in Kaspiysk, Dagestan. Four more individuals were found guilty. Alisher Kasimov, who rented an apartment to the attackers, received 22.5 years. Dilovar Islomov, who sold his Renault Symbol car to the terrorists, along with his father Isroil and brother Aminchon, each received 19 years and 11 months. The terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall" concert venue in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, occurred on the evening of March 22, 2024. Several individuals entered the building and opened fire on people attending a concert by the band "Piknik." As a result, 145 people were killed and over 550 were injured. The day after the attack, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov reported to Vladimir Putin on the arrest of 11 people. The four alleged perpetrators were taken into custody on March 24, 2024. They showed signs of torture in court. The investigation stated that the attack was organized by the group "Vilayat Khorasan" (an Afghan unit of the terrorist organization "Islamic State"), but with the involvement of foreign special services and "in the interests of the current top leadership of Ukraine" with the aim of "destabilizing the political situation."
