Vladimir Medinsky to Lead Russian Delegation at New Trilateral Talks. They Will Be Held February 17-18 in Geneva

Russian presidential aide and former Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky will head the Russian delegation at new negotiations between Ukraine, the Russian Federation, and the USA. Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov announced this. According to him, a new round of trilateral negotiations will take place from February 17 to 18 in Geneva (Switzerland). Information that a new round of negotiations will take place from February 17 to 18 in Geneva was confirmed by the adviser to the President of Ukraine on communications issues, Dmitry Lytvyn. The Ukrainian delegation will include Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada David Arakhamia, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov, First Deputy Head of the Office of the President and First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Kyslytsia, as well as Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Vadym Skibitskyi. During the first two rounds of trilateral negotiations in the UAE, the Russian delegation was led by GRU Chief Igor Kostyukov. Medinsky, however, headed the negotiating team at previous meetings with Ukraine, including in 2022. Earlier, Politico, citing sources, wrote that new negotiations between Ukraine, Russia, and the USA could take place next week in Miami or Abu Dhabi.
